Today I’m sharing a few more valentine treats that I made with the Oh, Whale! stamp set from Stampin’ Up. I had a request from my niece to make some of the whale valentine treats for her classmates so here they are.

I started with a panel of Pool Party card stock that I cut with the Oval Accent Bigz Die and I stamped the waves from the Oh, Whale! stamp set on it in Pool Party ink. Then I used the Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate and I scored around the edge of the die cut and then I scored a straight line across the center. Next, I used the Hearts Collection Framelits die to cut a heart from Primrose Petals card stock, I embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and adhered it with SNAIL to the Pool Party die cut. Then I cut the scalloped heart from More Amore DSP using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits die and I adhered it to the Primrose Petals heart using SNAIL. Then I stamped the whale image from the Oh, Whale! stamp set on Very Vanilla card stock in Basic Gray ink, cut it out with the Happy Whale Clearlits Die and adhered it to the scalloped heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also cut the water spray using the Happy Whale die from Pool Party card stock and I adhered them above the whale using a 2-Way Glue Pen. Then I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink and the heart in Primrose Petals ink on Very Vanilla card stock. I trimmed the sentiment to 3/8″ x 3″, adhered it with SNAIL to a strip of Basic Gray card stock cut to 1/2″ x 3″, and cut the flag ends with my Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment over the hearts with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a bow using the Pool Party Ribbon from the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack and I adhered it under the whale with a Glue Dot. To finish the treat holder, I folded the die cut in half, filled the Gusseted Cellophane Bag with some chocolate hearts, trimmed the top off the bag with my Scissors and rolled it over, adding a little tape to the top to hold it closed. I ran Sticky Strip around the edge of the die cut, then adhered the die cut to the top of the bag with the Sticky Strip.

I started by cutting an oval from Basic Gray card stock and from Pool Party card stock using the Ovals Collection Framelits Die. Then I cut two ovals from the More Amore Speciality DSP using the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies and I adhered the DSP ovals to the card stock ovals with SNAIL. Then I stamped the whale from the Oh, Whale! stamp set in Basic Gray and Pool Party ink on Very Vanilla card stock, I cut them out with the Happy Whale Clearlits Die, and I adhered them to the layered ovals with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut the water spray and the heart using the Happy Whale Clearlits Die from Pool Party and Primrose Petals card stock and I adhered them above the whale using the 2-Way Glue Pen. Then I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray and Pool Party and the heart in Primrose Petals on Very Vanilla card stock. I trimmed the sentiments down to 3/8″ x 3″, adhered them with SNAIL to a strip of Pool Party and Basic Gray card stock that I’d cut to 1/2″ x 3″, cut the flag ends with my Paper Snips and adhered them under the whale with SNAIL. I tied two small bows using the Pool Party ribbon from the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack and adhered them under the sentiment with Glue Dots. To finish the treat holders, I put a pencil inside the Cellophane Bags and sealed it, then taped it to the back of the decorated oval. I cut a second Very Vanilla oval and adhered it over the back of the decorated oval to cover the tape and top of the bag.
